reflecting text tutorial

this was made in photoshop cs2
but most photoshops are the basically same
you'll need a basic understanding of photoshop to do this

Make a new document by pressing CRTL N

I made mine size 600w x 400h

Select your TEXT TOOL

Click and drag your mouse over your document to make a text selection, then type something in.

Duplicate the text layer by pressing CRTL J on your keyboard.

Flip the top layer vertically, so it's upside down, go up to EDIT > TRANSFORM > FLIP VERTICAL

If it flipped way down just drag it up with the arrow tool

Make sure you line it up right!

Now apply a gradient overlay to the layer we've been working on, go up to LAYER > LAYER STYLE > GRADIENT OVERLAY

Just make it a plain black and white gradient, but make sure your settings look something like this:

Or you can play with the settings to make it look best for yours, then just lower the opacity on the layer itself

Then thats pretty much it, heres what you final effect should look like!

Hope it helped!
